Coach Tony Seaman is a popular speaker at IMLCA and 10 years as the Head Coach Towson. Coach Seaman has taken teams to the NCAA Tournament 19 times including eight straight years in his tenure at Hopkins, and is the only Coach in NCAA History to take three different teams to the NCAA Tournament. What you may not know is he started as a Middle School Coach, followed by ten years as a High School Head Coach.
This makes his perspective unique for us as he offers drill after drill that he runs at Towson but in a way we can run without 40 players or eight coaches. This interview is about practice and transition including the Full Field Scramble Drill, a different perspective on how we can run 4V4 drills that more directly emulate game situations, one on one scenarios, and slides. If you listen to this interview, get a pad ready to take notes that will definitely help you put your kids in a position to be more successful! See our article on the 4V4 drills.
